Crossing Borders
- prepare expats and their spouses on how to deal with transition
and change,
- develop individuals to improve their intercultural competence.
All sessions are on an individual basis and done by phone.
Before the actual training, future expat assignees and spouses answer a web-based cross-cultural
questionnaire. The answers are automatically compiled by the Intercultural Awareness Profiler and allow us to know more about the participant's cross-cultural orientation. Based on this information we adapt the training to the individual cultural
orientation of the trainee and the opportunities and challenges likely to be
encountered when crossing borders and/or when dealing with diverse teams.
Additional to the preparation and the individual session we support
trainees by offering
- access to the web-based Culture Compass OnLine – a mine of
information when it comes to cross-cultural and country specific data,
- THT publications,
- an additional coaching session to support the expat during the
assignment.
